A few days before the reception for my solo exhibit in the Gulf Shores, AL area, the group, Artists by the Bay, hospitably invited me to their brunch, held at the Foley Performing Arts Center in Foley, AL, where my exhibit was already hung.
I met so many so many exceptional artists that I thought I'd share some snippets of the day.
My thankx to all the artists who were so welcoming. If you live in the area check out this great group that embraces the entire bay area. Have the best day ever.
This is a long shot of the entryway wall with my exhibit. They even filled the bin with various prints, both matted and unmatted. Can't express how wonderful it makes you feel to see a sight like that!
Me and Bonnie Blaylock. Bonnie curated my exhibit, and she is the powerhouse behind the Foley Performing Art Center. My biggest thankx to you, Bonnie, for all you do!
Standing with some of the exhibit photos.
Bonnie Blaylock with just one of her many paintings. I apologize for the greenish overal hue--I was using a point and shoot.
Excuse the blur. A friendly passer-by took this for us. I was presenting my art donation to the Community Hospice of Baldwin County. Left to right: Bonnie Blaylock, Aggie Villanueva, Lana Wheeler, my mother, Pat Crumby.
Quick (& blurry--sorry) shot of Lana Wheeler speaking about Community Hospice of Baldwin County, holding the photo I donated.
Joe played an integral part in hanging my exhibit. One of Joe's many gorgeous pastels.
